LOL I mean really, the inconvenience of having to fill everyone in individually. If everyone would just read my blog they'd save me so much time. Then again there has been times I've start to blog something but I know certain people know I blog (now whether they read it or not, who knows, but they know it's there) so I decide well may be I shouldn't say that in case so-and-so reads it.

I've also gotten to where I save my friends from having to tell me about things they blogged about. I'll say something like, "Yeah, I saw you mentioned that on your blog..so cool or I'm so sorry..." whatever fits. They way they don't have to waste their time and they can go on and tell me all the juicy details they didn't blog in case so-and-so was reading their blog.

Yes, I guess we bloggers do seem to somewhat live double lives! Admittedly, I have wondered sometimes why she was seemingly more transparent in the blog than in person. Or how sometimes the blog stuff didn't exactly correlate w/real life stuff. I DO sometimes still feel weird about mentioning "my friend in California" or "my friend in Canada" or "my friend in Indiana" since DUH, I've never met them, and we WASP SAHMS have been taught that all internet contact is bad, bad, very bad.

I need to get over that. Or maybe I'm just as odd as the rest of you freaky people. :) :) :)

I, actually, find this no different than meeting at M.O.P.S. or in child-birth classes or at a scrapbooking retreat and finding a friend you didn't know you'd ever have.

But it's still a little odd at times. Until a few weeks ago, we lived in a small town that is very insulated from the outside world. E-mail is still catching on there ... and what the heck is a blog?

Needless to say, my blogger status has remained hidden to most of my "real world" friends -- only because it would freak them out. They are still amazed that I check my e-mail all day every day instead of once a week or so.Kelly @ Love Wellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18037513409301217473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30016058.post-85682789631598323632007-09-10T09:41:00.000-05:002007-09-10T09:41:00.000-05:00This is exactly why I finally let my mom know abou...This is exactly why I finally let my mom know about my blog the other week. But at the same time, I think it helps me stay honest and strive to present a fairly accurate picture of myself rather than actually being sort of a different person on my blog than I am in real life. (if I was going to be someone other than my real life self on my blog, I'd definitely pretend to be sexier and more mysterious!!)tammihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03803890115567631062noreply@blogger.com
