Piggies and Betrayal

Well, the week is nearly over and the cobwebs are forming in the corners of the blog.

I'm sure you've moved on with your life by now, but the consensus seems to be that the little piggy from the rhyme was sad.

I think he was said, too. Hubs is convinced he was happy. Who knows, really? And who cares, right?

This is my life, people.  I spend time pondering the emotional state of swine.

What I really should be concerned with is why a pig would eat roast beef. That's just wrong. There should be some sort of farm animal pact.

I would say you're better off than me....I'm so pathetic that I'm from KY (a farming town to beat it all) and still can't remember what kind of meat comes from which animal.
Sad, sad.

Now you have me pondering exactly WHY that Little Piggy went "to market." In all of my books it shows a happy pig dancing (on hind legs) down a winding dirt road with a market basket swinging from foreleg.

NOW I'm beginning to wonder if that piggy didn't "go to market" for a totally DIFFERENT reason. Maybe there is a rhyme somewhere about cattle having ham sandwiches. . .or bacon with their eggs--DOUBLE betrayal.

Which reminds me that the Chik-Fil-A chicken and egg biscuit seems WRONG to me on many levels. I love me some Chik-Fil-A, but chicken and eggs together? Not right.
