Cookies of Biblical Proportions

I covet your prayers, Internets.

Tomorrow I, along with the other troop leader, will be counting over 1000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. That's oh, at least 300 boxes of Thin Mints, a couple hundred boxes of Peanut Butter patties, and who knows how many boxes of LEMONADES!

And we won't be eating a one of them. OK. Maybe just a few... from my daughter's order.

Is there some kind of self-control patch?

I keep reading about Girl Scout cookies on everybody's blogs. But where are MY girl scouts when I need them?! Are they hiding out not wanting to freeze to death from knocking on doors? Come on girls, earn your patches! Bring them here and I will buy (under the guise of "it's for a good cause" of course). I will self-lessly behold, eat, and adore every single Thin Mint. But I don't suppose your troop can make it all the way to the Frozen North.

We don't get the wonderful variety that you guys do so it's a smidge easier to maintain control. Just a smidge.

What are Lemonades?! I need to know! We don't have them in Detroit.
