BLATANT PRODUCT ENDORSEMENT!!

I just bought a Dyson Pink vacuum cleaner. I have wanted a Dyson since they first came out,but I always wait a few years after a new product has been introduced. The price usually goes down and it takes that long for the manufacturer to work out all of the "kinks." Product testing only goes so far. Consumer reporting always reveals hidden problems. So, the product usually improves after some tweaking. (This is true for new cars, too!)

Let me say, I love this machine. I was actually demonstrating it to my husband. Yes, I was. The really cool thing about the Dyson Pink is that part of the proceeds ($40) goes to Breast Cancer Research!

So, if you are considering a Dyson, THINK PINK!

Oh, I love the pink! Mine is purple, no pink available when I got it. But it is a great vacuum. Chris would actually bring it out and demonstrate it for his friends when we first got it. "See, it has cyclonic action!" And it does a great job of sucking up dog vomit from the backseat of the car. Yeah, had to share.

Susanne-
They are quite expensive. BUT, I am hoping it will last longer. It is supposed to never lose suction, ever. And no bags or filters. I was amazed at what it picked up. Even picked up cat food on the bare floor. My old one just spewed it everywhere. I sound like a commercial... :>)

Oh what I wouldn't give for a pink vacuum cleaner! Sadly, I have hardwood floors so probably can't justify buying one just because it's so darn cute.

I can't tell you the last time I vacuumed a whole room. Hubby is obsessed with vacuuming. But, it is quite cute. I hope they donate more than the yogurt label people. The amount they donate would barely cover the postage I paid to send the things in.

According to the box, they will donate $40.

I think vacuuming with pink would be ever so much more fun!

(Word verification just spelled dumluo- not sure what it means but I think I should feel offended!) ;)
