This is what I'm talkin' 'bout!

This afternoon I was talking to Mama and she told me about these really cute dolls she found. They are called Faith and Friends and are available at Family Christian Book Stores.

Here is one of them-

Orange You Cute Doll

Is she cute or what?

The idea is to encourage our little girls to express their fashion creativity in a modest way, while expressing their faith and learning about The One who created them. The dolls come with a small Bible and a journal. There are some really cute accessories and one of the dolls even has her own "blog."

If any of you have these for your little girls, leave a comment. I'd love to hear about them. For more info about these cute dolls, go here.

Kudos to the inventors of these cute little toys!

Where were these when my girls were small? They are adorable!

I'm wondering the same thing Susanne asked. I so would have gotten these for my girls!

I would definitely check into these if I had a little girl, or a granddaughter. Why do people come up with these smart ideas, when all I do is sit around and say things like, "Someone should make beautiful dolls that teach girls self-respect."

Very cute! They look fairly good sized, too.

Oh...I love it! I'm going to check out the website. My seven year old is crazy about the American Girl books but hadn't gotten the dolls yet. I may want to get these instead! :)
Thanks, Melanie!

Roxanne is having trouble posting, so I am her emissary: "So pretty. . .love these dolls. Does anyone have any idea what size they are? My daughter has and American Girl doll and I'm wondering if the clothes can be shared. Thanks for sharing these."

Yeah! A doll that looks like I want my daughter to look! And she seems "fashion forward" a big plus for my 5 year old....
