"Mommy, the teacher has a brown tooth."
"A brown tooth?"
"Yeah, it's brown. Like a cavity."
"Maybe it is a filling. Some fillings can be dark and look brown."
"No. It's all yucky. It's a cavity. She said so."
"Really...Oh... Well, maybe she didn't get to go to the dentist when she was young."
"NO! It's not in her mouth! It's in a box in our classroom!"

Talk about a visual aid.
My daughter needs to see that tooth. Can her teacher get it on loan?
TOO FUNNY! My daughter just started kindergarten, and I can totally see her saying that! I just found you through your comment on BooMama's blog (the comment on the HAIR situation, which by the way, was great advice!) and I just wanted to tell you that I really think your FUNNY! Your previous post ..."with only the advice of half-witted friends and neurotic relatives with good intentions..." HA HA HA! Good stuff!
Too funny. I guess she thought the children were more visual than auditory.
Blessings
Eeeewwwww! Seriously?! That's so gross!!!! Kids probably love it though, and if they hadn't already, I'm sure they've all decided they're going to religiously brush their teeth from now on!!
I'm just so thankful it isn't the teachers' own tooth- I was having a horrible mental picture of some poor teacher with a brown front tooth- yuck!
I'm laughing so hard... Yuck!
However, we've had so many fillings in our family, we could have used this visual aid around here!
But...um...yuck! ;)
Yucky. I too had visions of this tooth being in her mouth. LOL!
